GENERAL SUP TOUR INFORMATION

When:

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour. Group SUP tours are scheduled for 7 PM daily, so plan to arrive at 6:45 PM. Private SUP tours are based upon when you booked your tour, so plan to arrive 15-minutes ahead of time. If you show up late to your scheduled tour and the tour has to leave without you, you will have the option to reschedule your tour at no additional cost.

How Long:

LED paddle boarding SUP tours of the North Shore Oahu are 1-hour and 15-minutes long (min).

Cost:

$149 per person for pre-scheduled Group Tours (view calendar). Private tours are variable, so please call us to ask about special pricing for private tours.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to the unpredictable nature of the ocean and weather, we sometimes need to cancel our tour to protect the safety of our tour members and staff. This typically will only happen during very big swells or major storms. In the event that this happens, you can either reschedule your tour or we will issue you a full refund.

  • Yes. Ke'alohi Surf welcomes beginners and first-time paddleboarders. Guests receive instruction and are provided with the necessary safety equipment before heading out. Tours operate when nighttime ocean and weather conditions are suitable.

  • Swimming ability is not required for Ke'alohi Surf’s nighttime paddleboard tours, as personal flotation devices (PFDs) are required safety equipment. Guests are provided easy to understand safety instructions provided by the crew.

  • For Ke'alohi Surf’s nighttime paddleboard tour, wear comfortable clothing that can get wet, such as a swimsuit or quick-drying clothes. Wear suitable water shoes or secure footwear for the launch area, and bring a light layer for before or after the tour.

  • Yes. Ke'alohi Surf provides safe storage for personal belongings and valuables during your nighttime paddleboarding tour, so you can enjoy the experience without worrying about your items.

  • Nighttime LED paddle boarding provides views of the night sky, coastline and illuminated water that you simply cannot experience during a daytime paddle. During most tours, guests encounter marine life, such as sea turtles, spotted rays, puffer fish, and more, although sea-life sightings are never guaranteed.

  • If conditions are considered unsuitable, a tour may be postponed, rescheduled or canceled (with full refund).

  • Yes. Ke'alohi Surf’s nighttime LED paddle boarding tours are family-friendly, with children as young as four years old welcome. Safety is a priority, with required safety equipment, instruction, and guidance provided throughout the experience.

  • Yes, but availability depends on the weather and ocean conditions leading into the evening of your schedule SUP tour. Because North Shore Oahu ocean conditions can change significantly, tours may need to be reschedule or cancelled (w/full refund).

  • Getting to Ke'alohi Surf’s North Shore SUP tours from Waikiki is easiest by rental car, with the drive taking approximately 50–60 minutes depending on traffic. Uber and Lyft are also options, but finding a rideshare for the return trip at night can be difficult due to fewer drivers on the North Shore, so plan your transportation in advance. TheBus is another option, with Route 52 providing service to Haleʻiwa and the North Shore, although travel time is considerably longer at around 2 hours.

  • Getting to Ke'alohi Surf’s SUP tours at Rainbow Bridge in Haleʻiwa from Turtle Bay Resort is a straightforward drive along Oʻahu’s North Shore and typically takes about 20-minutes by rental car, depending on traffic. From Turtle Bay, follow Kamehameha Highway west toward Haleʻiwa, passing through North Shore communities and beaches along the way before continuing into downtown Haleʻiwa. For guests using Uber or Lyft, rides may be available for the trip to Haleʻiwa, but arranging a return ride in advance is strongly recommended, particularly for an evening LED paddleboard tour when fewer rideshare drivers may be operating on the North Shore. TheBus is another option via Route 60‍ which is just a 30-minute ride in the evening.
